Update October 2021

We received £1049.40 in EYPP during the Spring term. We intend to purchase additional resources for our home learning packs. These have been a great success and those children who have been at home/having to self isolate have enjoyed the their packs. Each week has a different theme and we include resources such as books, etc that link up with activities.

Update October 2020

We received £1669.50 in EYPP during the Autumn term. We intend to purchase additional tablets to assist with home learning, tracking and monitoring progress. The tablets can also be used to communicate with our parents in order to enrich home/school learning.

Update January 2020

The nursery received £3060.75 in EYPP during the Spring term. With this additional money we have purchased books to assist with the children’s reading. We now have lots of exciting books including specialist editions for children with English as an additional language that the children are encouraged to borrow from our new library. We are making great use of the portable new library purchased using our Autumn term pupil premium and you will find a selection of books outside the nursery class and the two year old room both filled to capacity with age appropriate books. The children have new bookbags and their own library ticket, each time they bring their book back they receive a stamp, when they collect eight stamps they choose a prize. The library has been a great success with a queue of children returning their book to the office each day. The children are thoroughly enjoying sharing their books at home with their families as it’s a time for closeness, laughing and talking together. This is an excellent way to give children a flying start in life and help them become lifelong readers.

We have purchased additional maths resources to enhance our continuous provision, many of which have been inspired by additional maths training attended in house by all staff.

It is a wonderful opportunity to access additional funds to provide the facilities for your children to achieve their maximum potential. We hope you will continue to support us by providing us with the information we need to access the Early Years Pupil Premium.
