Uniform

At Cambridge Nursery School, we wear a simple, practical school uniform. It helps everyone feel part of the same team, makes mornings easier for families, and keeps children’s own clothes clean while they learn and play.

When your child joins Cambridge Nursery School they will be issued with;

• 1 Green School Sweatshirt with the school logo

• 1 Grey Polo Shirt with the school logo

• 1 Green Book Bag

• 1 Green PE Bag

What children wear

• Green School Sweatshirt with the school logo (Non logo items are accepted)

• Grey Polo Shirt with the school logo (Non logo items are accepted)

• Black jogging bottoms

This uniform supports children’s independence (e.g. toileting, handwashing), is comfortable for busy school days, and allows them to fully explore all learning experiences from creative activities to outdoor play.

Footwear

Children should wear shoes that are safe for running, climbing and playing.
We recommend pumps or shoes with velcro fastenings, as these help children put them on independently.

Children often change into wellies for outdoor play.

Labelling

Please make sure all clothes are clearly labelled with your child’s name. This helps us return lost items quickly.

Learning can be messy

Young children learn best through exploration. It’s okay if their clothes get a little messy — it means they’re busy discovering, creating and enjoying their day.

Purchasing

Uniform will be able to be purchased from Mrs Barrett in the school office. (Prices to be confirmed).
