Our School Uniform

At our nursery school, we wear a simple school uniform. It helps everyone feel part of the same team, makes getting dressed in the morning easier and keeps your own clothes clean!

Our school uniform for both girls and boys is a red school sweatshirt and jogging bottoms (displaying the school logo.) These make a big difference to your child’s independence (eg. going to the toilet, hand washing), are comfortable, and enable them to explore every experience we provide for their learning (eg. creative activities, outdoor play).

We ask that all children wear footwear which is easy to run, climb and play in. Something they can put on independently such as pumps or shoes with velcro fastenings.

Children will often change into wellies for outdoor play.

Outdoor play is part of our daily provision, we will provide the over clothing waterproofs for wet weather and water play but request that parents provide wellies that are labelled with the child’s name and left in school.

Please make sure all clothes have your child’s name on them. This helps us return lost items quickly.

Children should also bring a warm coat in cold weather and a sun hat when it is sunny.

We know young children like to explore, paint, and play outside. It’s okay if their clothes get a bit messy — that means they are learning!
