Attendance Expectations
Attendance at Cambridge Nursery School
At Cambridge Nursery School we know that coming to nursery regularly is very important. Even though nursery is not a school you have to attend by law, being here often helps children learn, grow, and make friends.
When children come to nursery every day, they get used to routines, practice important skills, and have lots of chances to explore, play, and discover new things. For example, a two year old who comes regularly will start to learn words faster, join in with group activities, and feel confident to try new things. Children who come to nursery regularly also get the chance to make friends, take turns, and share with others, which helps them in school later on.
We understand that sometimes children are unwell or have other important reasons for missing nursery. If your child is not coming, please let us know so we can make sure they stay safe.
Regular attendance is one of the best ways to help your child succeed and enjoy nursery life. When children are here every day they get the most out of learning and have the best start for the future.
