Safeguarding for Parents
Safeguarding at Cambridge Nursery School
At Cambridge Nursery School keeping children safe and happy is our top priority. All staff are trained to make sure children are protected and cared for at all times.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mrs. J. Snowdon (Headteacher). If she is not available, our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs. C. Aland (Cath) and Miss V. Collins (Vicky). These staff are specially trained to handle any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing.
We follow the rules and guidance set by Sefton Local Authority to make sure children are protected. If you have any concerns about your child’s safety, you can speak to the DSL, one of the deputies, or contact the following:
Sefton Children’s Services: 0151 934 3555
Emergency Duty Team (out of hours): 0151 934 3555
Local Police (emergency): 999
Local Police (non-emergency): 101
We encourage parents to talk to us about any worries, no matter how small. By working together, we can make sure every child at Cambridge is safe, supported, and happy.
